Vetting

The candidates we register with our agency are all fully cleared and vetted, and a face to face interview is conducted with each staff member to ensure they have the correct experience and skills and are 100% compliant.

We carry out the following checks:

Face-To-Face Interview

All candidates are interviewed face-to-face by an experienced consultant, who asks questions relevant to the role and clarifies all gaps in employment.

Identity Checks

Our candidates are required to provide at least 2 proofs of ID, including passport, driving licence, birth certificate and marriage certificate.

Right To Work

We carry out a full right to work check in line with Home Office requirements, verifying all candidates’ passport, biometric residence permit and proof of NI.

Employment Checks

All candidates are required to provide a full 5 years employment history and to explain all gaps, including time spent in education.

Address Check

All candidates are required to provide a minimum of 2 proofs of address dated within the last 3 months.

Children’s Barred List

If applicable to the role, we carry out a search on the Children’s Barred List every 3 months, including all surnames previously used.

DBS and Update Service Check

An Enhanced DBS is obtained for all candidates, including the Children’s and/or Adult’s Barred List checks according to the role. A new DBS is obtained every 12 months, unless the candidate is registered on the Update Service. We advise all our candidates to register on the Update Service and we carry out periodic checks to ensure their DBS remains current.

Heath Checks

We require all candidates to fill an annual health declaration and carry out risk assessments. We also require all candidates to fill a Covid-19 Self-Assessment on a weekly basis.

Overseas Police Check

An Overseas Police Clearance is obtained for all candidates who have lived overseas in the past 5 years. The police check includes all Countries they have lived in during that timeframe.

Qualifications Check

We carry out qualification checks relevant to the role applied for, including: Early Years qualifications checked against the list of DfE approved qualifications, full QTS and prohibition from teaching check, overseas qualifications compared by NARIC, Health and Social Care Qualifications checked.

Our referencing policy covers a full 5 years history, including references from latest and current employers, former employers, academic references and character references.

Compliance Officer and DSO

With a background in compliance and security vetting in the aviation industry, I decided to
transfer and further develop my expertise in compliance within the education sector. I joined
Worldwide Education in July 2021, and since then have gained a great deal of knowledge,
through day-to-day learning and training courses. I look forward to what the future holds at
Worldwide Education. I love travel, cinema, good food and going on walks with my sausage
dog!

Branch Manager : Langley

Hi I’m Samantha. I joined Worldwide Education in 2017 and since then I have developed my
career within in recruitment. I am now the Branch Manager for Langley and work across the
Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire area. I am currently completing my level 3 in recruitment
practise and I am looking forward to putting my new skills to good work. I enjoy spending
time with family and friends and getting to experience new adventures in life.
