Branch Manager

Due to our continuous growth and expansion, Worldwide Education is looking for an ambitious Branch Manager to join our busy Recruitment Team from April 2022. This role is permanent position as we strive to expand our business further. The role is full time 5 days per week in Bristol.

The ideal applicant will have several years’ experience in recruitment/sales and be a professional well educated individual who is committed, open and honest and takes a real pride in providing the best service.

You will be managing the Recruitment Team, delivering against all recruitment targets, implementing the recruitment strategy and ensuring that all applicants receive a positive candidate experience. You will also be a strong people manager and have the ability to effectively manage a team of 10 or more people, including the Compliance and Accounts teams.

Your main responsibilities would include:

  1. To create and deliver a recruitment strategy that is in line with the overall business objectives
  2. To plan and forecast recruitment requirements and implement solutions
  3. To select and manage all external job boards by regularly reviewing terms of business and negotiating rates in line with current market value
  4. To maximise the use of direct sourcing methods including CV libraries and LinkedIn
  5. To monitor and oversee all activity and tasks completed by the recruitment team
  6. To build strong relationships with local clients and to visit them regularly
  7. To coordinate and implement recruiting initiatives
  8. To conduct regular 1-1 appraisals and informal meetings to monitor service levels, performance and provide regular training and development
  9. To ensure that all communication delivered to candidates and clients adheres to our professional standards
  10. To ensure that all candidates and clients receive an excellent level of customer service
  11. To monitor all activity within each department and advise and support them regarding best practice and recruitment processes

The ideal candidate will fulfil the following requirements:

  • Proven experience of managing a team of 10 people or more
  • Previous experience within recruitment or a sales/target driven environment
  • Strategically minded with the ability to plan ahead, forecast and look for ways of improving the recruitment process
  • You will ideally come from the Education sector, or willing to become an expert in that area
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ambitious and motivated
  • Strong communication, spelling and grammatical skills
  • Organised and efficient
  • Excellent phone manners
  • Able to drive your own car
