We are currently recruiting for vibrant and enthusiastic individuals who are considering a career working in the Education Sector as a Cover Supervisor.

You would be working closely with Secondary Schools in and around the High Wycombe area on a day-to-day and long-term basis, providing the nurturing care and support students need to thrive on an academic and personal level.

Specific responsibilities for a Cover Supervisor can include:

• Confidently use classroom technology to deliver the lesson and set homework previously prepared by the teacher
• Effectively manage student behaviour, following the School’s Behaviour Management Policy
• Assist in preparing the classroom environment
• Recording and reporting attendance at lessons in accordance with school policy
• Ensure you are up-to-date with the Government guidelines on Keeping Children Safe in Education and follow the School’s Safeguarding Policy at all times
• Providing adequate handover for their usual class teacher

Pay – We offer competitive rates of pay for cover supervisors, ranging from £80-£90 per day, dependent on experience and qualifications.

You will be considerate, patient and must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability. A passion for working with children along with great classroom management skills is also required for a cover Supervisor.

Ideally you will be educated to degree level and have experience working with children as a Cover Supervisor.

Due to the nature of this job it will be required for an enhanced criminal record disclosure to be undertaken, together with safeguarding and compliance checks.
