Worldwide Education, The UK’s number one supply agency, are excited to announce we are recruiting for a Recruitment Consultant to work within our office based in Liverpool to service a new and exciting area and manage the Birmingham Desk.

We are excited to offer this full-time position as a Recruitment Consultant within the Liverpool (L1) area.

We are seeking to recruit a motivated, passionate, and dynamic individual with an eagerness and motivation to learn, develop and progress in a rewarding field. As a Recruitment Consultant, you will be offered the opportunity to train and study-learning all the basic skills required for a successful career journey. We are looking for someone to expand and develop our Birmingham area but will be based with our Liverpool team.


The pay Salary for the Recruitment Consultant position ranges from £20,000 – £24,000 per annum.

Main purpose of the role as a Recruitment Consultant

The role of Recruitment Consultant will focus on attracting candidates and matching them to temporary or permanent positions within Schools and Nurseries. You will work closely with clients, building relationships to gain a better understanding of their recruitment needs and requirements. A Recruitment Consultant provides a vital link between clients and candidates. The role is demanding and diverse and involves:

  • using sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking to attract business from clients.
  • visiting clients to build and develop relationships.
  • developing a good understanding of the client’s recruitment needs
  • using social media to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationships with candidates.
  • headhunting – identifying and approaching suitable candidates who may already be in work.
  • using different job boards to search for suitable CVs to match the right person to the client’s vacancy.
  • receiving and reviewing CV applications, managing interviews, and creating a shortlist of candidates for the client
  • briefing the candidate about the responsibilities, salary, and benefits of the job in question
  • preparing CVs and correspondence to forward to clients regarding of suitable applicants.
  • organizing interviews for candidates as requested by the client and passing any feedback.
  • negotiating pay and salary rates and finalizing arrangements between client and candidates.
  • working towards and exceeding targets that relate to perm placements and supply generated from your clients.
  • Doing Supply calls daily, to build and obtain new business relationships with clients.

Key skills required for the role of a Recruitment Consultant.

To be considered for the position of Recruitment Consultant, you will need the following skills:

  • Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English.
  • Good IT knowledge including using Outlook and Word. You will also need to be IT proficient as you will be trained on using the internal Database which is a vital tool required to succeed as a Recruitment Consultant
  • Good telephone mannerism
  • Sales Skills
  • Good communication
  • Team Player
  • Driver License and Car
