Examinations Officer

Worldwide Education, The UK’s number one Education Recruitment Agency, is currently looking for an Examinations Officer on behalf of our Client’s School based in Slough (Berkshire). We are looking for a candidate to work at term time + inset (one week) + one additional week contract working therefore 45.79 weeks per year – 37 hours per week. The role will be on an ongoing contract via our agency, with the potential of becoming permanent for the right candidate.

Pay – Worldwide Education offers competitive daily rates depending on the level of experience.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Operating as the school’s examinations officer and undertaking the associated administration tasks, including electronic entry, mock exams and internal exams.

  • Acting as first point of contact for examination queries, liaising with staff, students and/or parents as necessary and ensuring that all relevant documentation is processed in a timely manner.

  • To be aware of exam requirements and ensure that they are met.

  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Great organisational skills
  • Administrative skills and experience
  • Able to communicate effectively with other staff members and build positive relationships with parents
  • Willing to undertake further training as needed

Desirable Criteria:

  • Any relevant admin qualifications and experience
  • Safeguarding and Child Protection training

Due to the nature of this role, it will be necessary for an enhanced criminal record disclosure to be undertaken, together with other safeguarding checks, including obtaining references from previous employers.
