Payroll Assistant/ HR Assistant

Worldwide Education and Care are currently recruiting for a Payroll and HR Assistant for one of our wonderful clients in the Vale of Glamorgan area. The role is on a short term contract but could progress into a long term position for the right candidate.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provision of a comprehensive integrated HR and Payroll support service
  • Maintenance of Employee records and procedures, to ensure all computerised/manual records are accurate and up to date.
  • Provision of support for Payroll Officers to include timesheets checking and processing, sickness input and updating of records.
  • General clerical support including photocopying, filing, mail distribution, etc
  • Dealing with queries on assignment information/sickness documentation to ensure full and accurate information is received.
  • Keep up to date and familiar with current Government Legislation and Regulations
  • To implement the principles of the Client’s Equal Opportunity Policy whilst carrying out the above duties
  • To adhere to Health and Safety legislation/ relevant policies and procedures and to take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and other persons who may be adversely affected by your acts/omissions.
  • To report without delay any safeguarding concerns to the appropriate safeguarding officer.
  • Such other duties and responsibilities commensurate with the grade and in accordance with the general character of the job as may reasonably be required by the Chief Officer from time to time.
