Worldwide Education and Care are recruiting for a Response/Call Handler on behalf of a large client based in the Derby area.
The client operates a 24-hour emergency TSA accredited monitoring and response service ensuring that vulnerable people have access to support at the end of the phone or at the touch of a button whenever they need it. They also offer a range of other technology to protect our service users in an emergency.
As part of the team, you will provide call handling services and respond to emergency situations including lifting uninjured customers using specialist equipment provided and carrying out safe and well checks in support of vulnerable people living in the community. Other duties will include installing and maintaining emergency call equipment in customer’s homes and undertaking annual visits.
The positions available are on a 12 week contract with the potencial to become a permenant position for the right candidate.
The options available are:
– 28 hrs per week on a rolling rota: 7:30am – 3pm or 2:30pm – 10pm, including weekends and bank holidays.
– 33 hrs per week on a rolling rota: 8am – 8pm or 8pm – 8am, including weekends and bank holidays.
Candidates must have relevant experience working with vulnerable adults in healthcare. Candidates must also be computer literate, have knowledge of safeguarding vulnerable adults, and excellent communication and negation skills at all levels, including contractors, clients, suppliers, and customers, to ensure best value services are provided. Previous experience in a Customer Service/Call center would be ideal. Candidates must also have access to their own vehicle, a full and relevant driving license, and an enhanced DBS.
