Secondary School Teacher

We are currently recruiting for vibrant and enthusiastic individuals who are considering a career working in the Education Sector as a Secondary School Supply Teacher.

You would be working closely with Secondary Schools in and around the Harefield / Northwood area on a day-to-day and long-term basis, providing the nurturing care and support students need to thrive on an academic and personal level.

Specific responsibilities can include:

Confidently use classroom technology to deliver the lesson and set homework previously prepared by the teacher
Effectively manage Secondary School student behaviour, following the Secondary School’s Behaviour Management Policy
Assist in preparing the Secondary classroom environment
Recording and reporting attendance at lessons in accordance with school policy
Ensure you are up-to-date with the Government guidelines on Keeping Children Safe in Education and follow the Secondary School’s Safeguarding Policy at all times
Providing adequate handover for their usual class teacher

Pay as a Secondary School Teacher will range from £130-£160 per day, dependent on experience and qualfiifcations

You will be considerate, patient and must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability. A passion for working with children along with great Secondary School classroom management skills is also required.

Ideally you will hold a PGCE/QTS and have experience working with Secondary School children.

Due to the nature of this job it will be required for an enhanced criminal record disclosure to be undertaken, together with safeguarding and compliance checks.
