SIMS Administrator

Are you a School Administrator with SIMS experience?

We are now recruiting for a SIMS administrator on behalf of our Client based in Southall (West London).

We are looking for a School Administrator who has solid SIMS experience. This would be more advanced than the average SIMS user and involve being able to perform tasks such as set changes, timetable updates, setting up or editing marksheets etc. Also, inputting data correctly for new students and admissions and import/export of CTF files.

This is a full-time post on a maternity cover contract in the first instance, with a possibility of becoming permanent.

The salary we offer for the duration of the maternity cover contract is negotiable, depending on qualifications and experience. The permanent salary will be discussed with the school directly if a job offer is made.

To be considered for the position of SIMS Administrator, you will:

  • Be able to multi-task and provide full administrative support to the Front office team including Microsoft programmes, reporting, SIMS input, answering telephone calls and messages.
  • Be able to carry out the Admissions process, record maintenance and filing of reports.
  • Be able to respond to a wide range of enquiries/ possess good communication skills.
  • Be able to motivate and fit into the team with a can-do attitude.

The minimum requirements for the position of SIMS Administrator are below:

  • Have experience working within a school office and specifically admissions
  • Be Microsoft literate
  • Have experience using SIMS – including being able to perform tasks such as set changes, timetable updates, setting up or editing marksheets etc. Also, inputting data correctly for new students and admissions and import/export of CTF files.
  • Have or be prepared to undergo an enhanced DBS Check
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
