Educate 2Gether Training is currently seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Early Years Assessor to join our team. As a dedicated training provider, we are passionate about supporting individuals in achieving their full potential. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering training, conducting assessments, and mentoring learners within the Early Years sector.

Your main responsibilities as an Early Years Assessor will include conducting initial assessments, delivering engaging face-to-face lessons to groups of adult learners in Slough, and ensuring that teaching materials are up-to-date and in line with industry standards. As a course tutor/assessor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of Early Years courses at level 2 and 3, striving to exceed awarding body quality standards.

You will lead by example in integrating English (and maths) into vocational teaching, assess learner evidence against qualifications, and provide timely developmental feedback. It will be your duty to identify individual learner needs and create tailored action plans to foster their progression. Maintaining accurate and confidential records, you will also carry out administrative tasks, workplace assessments, and observations.

To succeed in this role, you should hold relevant qualifications in the subject area and possess assessing/teaching qualifications such as CAVA or AiET. Up-to-date industry knowledge, as well as GCSE or equivalent qualifications in English and maths, are essential. Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and e-portfolio systems, are required.

The ability to build strong professional relationships with employers and learners, along with exemplary motivational skills, is crucial.
