We are excited to offer this full-time permanent position, as an Education Recruitment Consultant within the Langley area, SL3 (Berkshire). Please note the office opens at 7:30 am, please apply only if you’re happy to start at 7:30 am.

Pay

The pay Salary for the Education Recruitment Consultant position ranges from £25,000 – £28,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Main purpose of the role as an Education Recruitment Consultant

The role of an Education Recruitment Consultant will focus on attracting candidates and matching them to temporary or permanent positions within Schools and Nurseries. You will work closely with clients, building relationships to gain a better understanding of their recruitment needs and requirements. An Education Recruitment Consultant provides a vital link between clients and candidates. The role is demanding and diverse and involves:

  • using sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking to attract business from clients.
  • visiting clients to build and develop relationships.
  • developing a good understanding of the client’s recruitment needs
  • using social media to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationships with candidates.
  • headhunting – identifying and approaching suitable candidates who may already be in work.
  • using different job boards to search for suitable CVs to match the right person to the client’s vacancy.
  • receiving and reviewing CV applications, managing interviews, and creating a shortlist of candidates for the client
  • briefing the candidate about the responsibilities, salary, and benefits of the job in question
  • preparing CVs and correspondence to forward to clients regarding of suitable applicants.
  • organizing interviews for candidates as requested by the client and passing any feedback.
  • negotiating pay and salary rates and finalizing arrangements between client and candidates.
  • working towards and exceeding targets that relate to perm placements and supply generated from your clients.
  • Doing Supply calls daily, to build and obtain new business relationships with clients.

Key skills required for the role of an Education Recruitment Consultant.

To be considered for the position of Education Recruitment Consultant, you will need the following skills:

  • Previous experience in the Recruitment industry
  • Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English.
  • Good IT knowledge including using Outlook and Word. You will also need to be IT proficient as you will be trained on using the internal Database which is a vital tool required to succeed as an Education Recruitment Consultant
  • Good telephone mannerism
  • Sales Skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Team Player
  • Driving License and Car
  • Experience in the Education sector would be an advantage, but it’s not essential
  • Level 3 diploma in Recruitment Practice qualification would be an advantage, but it’s not essential

Qualifications/ skills required to become an Education Recruitment Consultant

  • GCSE Grade A-C in English and Maths.
  • Excellent written English and Grammar.
  • Strong work ethic.

Hi I’m Samantha. I joined Worldwide Education in 2017 and since then I have developed my
career within in recruitment. I am now the Branch Manager for Langley and work across the
Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire area. I am currently completing my level 3 in recruitment
