About the Role

Are you an experienced Motor Vehicle professional with a passion for teaching and inspiring the next generation of automotive engineers? We are looking for a Lecturer in Motor Vehicles to join our dynamic team. You will deliver engaging lessons, provide hands-on training, and support learners in developing the skills needed for a successful career in the motor vehicle industry. You will be working for an outstanding college based in Slough.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Deliver high-quality teaching and practical training in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
✅ Plan, assess, and evaluate student progress in line with curriculum requirements.
✅ Provide industry-relevant knowledge, ensuring students develop practical skills.
✅ Support learners in achieving qualifications at various levels (e.g., IMI, City & Guilds).
✅ Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment in workshops and classrooms.
✅ Stay up to date with industry advancements and integrate them into teaching.

Requirements

✔ Relevant qualification in Motor Vehicle Engineering (Level 3 or above).
✔ Teaching qualification and experience
✔ Industry experience in vehicle maintenance, repair, diagnostics, or related areas.
✔ Strong communication and mentoring skills.
✔ Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a workshop environment.
