Job Title: Nursery Apprentice

Location: Brighton (BN2)

Our client, a well-known nursery recently rated Outstanding by OFSTED, is seeking two enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Apprentices to join their vibrant team in Brighton. Role Purpose:

To provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery.

To support the nursery staff in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging activities that support childrens development.

Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children.

Observe, assess, and record childrens progress, sharing this information with senior staff.

Support childrens personal care needs, including feeding, changing, and ensuring their comfort.

Engage with parents and carers to provide updates on their child’s progress.

Adhere to all nursery policies and procedures, including health and safety, safeguarding, and confidentiality.

Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Person Specification

Essential

Passionate about working with children and eager to learn.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.

Commitment to maintaining high standards of care and education.
